Computing, Robotics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Final Year Student Project Showcase Event - Monday 27 April 2015

We are pleased to let you know that the annual Final Year Student Project Showcase event will be taking place on the Plymouth University campus on Monday 27 April, from 10.00 - 13.00, in the Smeaton Building (East Entrance) - please go to the following link for a campus map:
https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/your-university/visit/getting-here

This is a great opportunity to see what our talented students can achieve in their final year of study at the University and to meet them before they graduate; perhaps identify a potential employee of the future?

There will also be the opportunity to have a tour of the PEMC on the day, if you haven't yet had the opportunity to meet the team and make use of the 12 hours of free support available for companies based in the south west with less than 250 employees.

If you would like to join us for this interesting event, please email:

Delegates Enjoy Composite Fracture Event

On the 27th June the EM Centre once again opened its doors to regional companies keen ot learn more about failure analysis of composites. 23 delegates from 13 different organisations from around the South West listened to academic and industrial speakers to gain knowledge about how Electron Microscopy fits into the toolbox for analysing the failure of compiste components.

Delegates had the chance to see their own samples analysed with experts on hand to give on the spot results and images.

Talks were given by Composite Innovations, the National Composite Centre, the Advanced Composite Manufacturing Centre and the Electorn Microscopy team. With the South West composite Gateway also in attendance, delegates had a great chance to talk to a wide range of composite support availble within the region all for free.

Keep an eye open on our events pages to hear about future Industrial Solutions events.
